A full calendar of events will be shared with registered interns and their managers upon registration.

Since 2014, interns have consistently shared how the Intern SBR Summer Connect program has positively influenced their perception of the South Bend Region and enhanced their internship experience. Please encourage your interns to participate by reminding them of upcoming programs, giving them the time to attend, and covering any related costs. If you’d be interested in sponsoring or hosting an intern program, let us know!

Summer Housing for Interns
We’re excited to share two great housing options for summer interns – IU South Bend and Saint Mary’s College. The IU South Bend housing program runs May 24-July 26 with applications due by Friday, April 26, and Saint Mary’s College housing is available June 1-July 31, 2024. This is a wonderful opportunity for interns to learn and connect with their peers, while getting better acquainted with the region.
Bendable Intern Development Toolkit
The Bendable Intern Toolkit will be accessible throughout the school year, providing a resource for intern managers to assign custom professional development to fall/winter/spring interns and for students to pursue self-directed learning in preparation for their next step.
